BIOGRAPHY
Jordan Moser is an artist, performer, musician, filmmaker, dancer, and activist. He grew up in Southern California and started dancing at the age of 5 and playing music at the age of 13. He moved to NYC at the age of 19 to pursue a career as a professional ballet dancer and landed his first job touring internationally with Los Angeles Dance Theatre. From there, he joined Ballet Austin where he danced from 2007-2017. After 10 years with the company, he transitioned to a position as creative content producer where he utilized his skills in film, directing, choreography, and music composition. In 2019, he released his acclaimed first LP Long Night with Keeled Scales Records.
Jordan has done video for various environmental campaigns with Texas campaign for the environment, rainforest action network, and indigenous environmental network documenting protests and direct action.
He recently shot, directed, and colored the performance art film Putin’s Ashes with Pussy Riot which premiered at Jeffrey Deitch Gallery in Los Angeles. He currently lives and works in San Marcos, TX as an artist assistant to Corinne Loperfido on installation + performance art projects. His latest record, entitled Peril will be released July 28th on Keeled Scales.
